No farming without digital farm-data ..

In the first week of December the 2e EU FRESH INFO Forum & Roundtable was held at the SS Rotterdam.
In the program was a lot of attention for farm data in an international perspective. For example there was J. Hulleman of JUMBO Retail who stated that retailers need more and more info of their produce for consumer trust.

K. Kuhl of the Canadian Horticultural Board gave an overview of how growers in Canada are organising their farm data.

But there are also developments in how the government is looking at Farm ID. There was a special session related to FarmID and especially the new BLUEnumber by UNcompact.

More and more Precision Farming is becoming regular practise. In this track an overview of all aspects of this was provided by for example F. van Diepen. Hereby all the eCrop developments in the Farm Digital project were presented.

J. Wilson of AGgateway showed how in the SPADE – project in the USA the supplier-side of our industry is working on precision farming (seed, minerals, chemicals, etc.). Also the way how the Dutch Government is sharing the data of field-polygones was presented by N. Dieckmann.

In the Best Practices Session Agri Place was showing their solution for farm data-management to make compliance easy. This solution is used in the FarmDigital pilot.
